## Start here: your first steps in Spndy

A practical setup guide, from creating your login to reviewing your first recorded expense.

### 1. Create and verify your login

Choose Get started, then enter your name, email, country and currency. Open the verification email, choose a password and log in. Google sign-in is also available on the sign-in screens. Use an email address you can access.

### 2. Add a money account

On Home, choose Account or Add account. This is a record of money you track, such as a bank account, cash wallet or savings account. Give it a name, choose its type and currency, and enter its starting balance.

### 3. Record a transaction

Choose Income or Expense on Home, or use the matching action on Activity. Enter a positive amount, choose a category and account, add a note if useful, then save. Review the saved transaction in Activity.

### 4. Add a category budget

Open Budgets, choose Add budget, select a category and enter a Monthly limit. Save it, then check the progress as expenses are recorded.

### 5. Find the rest of the app

Home, Activity, Budgets and Profile are the main navigation tabs. Profile opens settings, bills, reports, household, imports, Spndy AI and support. You can explore these after the basics are in place.

Good to know: Keep balances and transactions current. Spndy does not automatically connect a bank account when you create a money account.

---

## How do I create and verify my Spndy login?

Create your login using an email verification link or Google sign-in.

### Create your login

1. Choose Get started or Create account.
2. Enter your name, email, country and currency. Choose Continue with email.
3. On Check inbox, confirm the address shown is correct.
4. Open the email and follow its verification link.
5. Choose and confirm a password, then select Verify email and create account.
6. Return to Log in and use your email and the password you chose.

### About the verification link

The link works once and expires 15 minutes after it is issued. The page checks it before showing the password fields. Opening the link alone does not create the account; the explicit verification action completes registration.

### Password requirements

Signup passwords need at least 8 characters and no more than 72 UTF-8 bytes. Some accented characters and emoji use more than one byte. The on-screen checklist checks your entries.

### Prefer Google?

Use Continue with Google on the sign-in screen and follow the Google account selection. You may still need a second factor if it is enabled for your Spndy login.

---

## Where do I find things in the app?

A short map of Home, Activity, Budgets and Profile.

### The four main tabs

- Home: recorded balances, accounts, recent activity and quick actions.
- Activity: search, filter, inspect, edit or delete transactions.
- Budgets: category limits and recorded spending against them.
- Profile: your preferences, security, plans and other tools.

### More tools in Profile

Look for Household, Bills & subscriptions, Reports & insights, Two-factor authentication, App settings, Import CSV, Plans & pricing, Redeem promo code and Contact support. Spndy AI also has a card on Profile.

### Returning to a screen

Use the app's Back control to return from a tool. Some layouts differ between a phone and a wide browser, but screen names and actions stay consistent.

---

## Does Spndy connect to my bank?

Understand what a Spndy money account does and how your records stay up to date.

### Money accounts are tracking records

The account setup asks for a name, type, currency and starting balance. It does not ask you to sign in to a bank. Creating a Bank account in Spndy does not connect or authorise access to your bank.

### Keep your records current

Record income and expenses yourself. CSV import can bring transactions into a selected account when your plan includes it. Review Activity and compare it with your own records.

### What Spndy does not do

Recording an expense, tracking a subscription or marking a bill paid does not send money or authorise a bank payment. Make real payments through your usual payment service.

---

## My verification email or link is not working

Fix a missing email, expired link, incorrect address or already-used link.

### No email yet?

1. Check the email address on Check inbox.
2. Look in spam or junk and allow a few minutes for delivery.
3. Use Resend email when its cooldown ends. A rate-limit message may require a longer wait.
4. Use a different email lets you correct the address and request a new link.

### Expired or already used

Request a new link from signup and use the latest email. If you already completed verification, go to Log in instead. A link that worked once cannot be used to set another password.

### The page cannot check the link

A connection or availability message does not mean your email is verified. Use Try again when available. If the connection dropped after you pressed the create-account button, try logging in with the password you chose before requesting another link.

### Still stuck?

Contact support with the email address you used and a description of the message. Do not send your password, verification link or code.

---

## How do I sign in with Google?

Use the Google button and understand when another login method is needed.

### Sign in

1. Open Log in or Create account.
2. Choose Continue with Google.
3. Select the intended Google account and complete the Google prompts.
4. Finish any Spndy two-factor challenge shown after sign-in.

### Use the right identity

Check which Google account is selected if you have more than one. When Spndy offers an explicit Connect your Google account action on Profile, use that flow to link an identity to an existing login.

### If the flow fails

Try again from the Spndy sign-in screen, checking your connection and any browser popup restrictions mentioned on the page. Do not repeatedly create new accounts to work around an error. If you normally use an email password, that method remains the way to sign in unless you have linked Google.

---

## How do I reset a forgotten password?

Request a reset email, choose a new password and sign in again.

### Request the link

1. On Log in, choose Forgot password?.
2. Enter the email you used for your account and choose Send reset link.
3. Check your inbox and spam folder.
4. Open the reset link, enter the new password twice and choose Reset password.
5. Return to Log in and sign in with your new password.

### What the email confirmation means

The sent screen is deliberately neutral. It does not confirm whether an address belongs to an eligible password account. If you only signed in using Google, try Continue with Google.

### Link and password checks

Reset links work once and expire after 15 minutes. Follow the password checklist on the reset screen; its requirements may differ from signup. An expired or replaced link needs a fresh reset request.

### After a reset

Existing sessions are invalidated. Two-factor authentication still applies when enabled. Changing your password does not replace your authenticator or recovery codes.

---

## How do I turn on two-factor authentication?

Add an authenticator app and save your recovery codes.

### Set up your authenticator

1. Open Profile → Two-factor authentication.
2. Confirm your account password if the screen asks for it.
3. Choose Set up authenticator.
4. Scan the QR code in your authenticator app, or use the setup key shown.
5. Enter the current six-digit code and choose Enable two-factor authentication.
6. Save the recovery codes securely. Confirm you have saved them, then choose Done.

### Protect your recovery codes

The codes cannot be retrieved later. Keep them somewhere you can access if you lose your phone, separate from the authenticator device. Each recovery code works once.

### Availability

If setup is temporarily unavailable, return later or contact support. Keep your current login method working while you finish setup.

---

## How do I enter my six-digit authentication code?

Use the six boxes, paste a code, or switch to a recovery code.

### Enter your authenticator code

Open your authenticator app and find the current code for Spndy. Type its six digits into the boxes, or paste the full code. A leading zero is part of the code and must be kept.

### Edit and submit

In the web app, tap a box to edit that digit. Backspace removes a digit. Choose Verify and sign in when the code is complete; filling the sixth box does not automatically submit.

### A code is rejected

Use the current code for the correct Spndy entry. Codes can expire or already have been used. Check that your phone's date and time are set correctly. Respect a Too many attempts message rather than immediately retrying.

### Lost your authenticator?

Choose Use a recovery code to enter one saved single-use recovery code in the text field. Use your authenticator app switches back. If the verification attempt expired or you refreshed the page, sign in again to begin a new attempt.

---

## How do recovery codes work?

Sign in without your authenticator and manage replacement codes.

### Use one to sign in

On the two-factor screen, choose Use a recovery code. Enter an unused saved code and choose Verify and sign in. These codes are not six-digit authenticator codes, so use the recovery text field.

### Generate replacements

In Profile → Two-factor authentication, use Generate new recovery codes. The screen asks for a current authenticator or unused recovery code and, where required, your current password. Save the new codes when shown; do not depend on an old saved set.

### Turn off two-factor authentication

Use Disable two-factor authentication in the same settings screen and supply the requested verification. The screen explains the session change after disabling.

### No authenticator and no codes

Contact support. Account recovery may require identity verification; a support request is not an automatic bypass of two-factor authentication.

---

## How do I sign out?

Use the Profile sign-out action and understand session changes.

### Sign out

1. Open Profile.
2. Choose Sign out.
3. Read the Sign out on all devices? confirmation.
4. Confirm Sign out when ready.

### On a shared device

After signing out, close the browser tab or app. Do not share passwords, authentication codes or recovery codes. A password reset also invalidates existing sessions.

### Saved session cannot connect

Use Try again on the reconnect screen if you want to keep the current session. Use another account signs out before you choose a different login.

---

## How do I add a money account?

Track cash, a bank balance or another account in its own currency.

### Create the account

1. On Home, choose Account or Add account.
2. Enter a recognisable name, such as Everyday chequing.
3. Select the account type from the choices shown.
4. Choose the account currency.
5. Enter the Starting balance, or leave it blank to start at zero.
6. Choose Create account.

### Choose the starting point carefully

Use the balance at the point you begin tracking. If the balance already includes an old transaction, recording that same transaction again will change the balance a second time.

### Account and display currencies

The starting balance is recorded in the account currency. Your preferred display currency does not convert balances. Choose the correct currency before you start recording transactions.

---

## How do I record income or an expense?

Choose the correct account and category, then review the saved record.

### Add a record

1. Choose Income or Expense on Home, or the matching action on Activity.
2. Enter a positive amount; the Income or Expense choice sets its direction.
3. Choose a category.
4. Select the account that received or spent the money.
5. Add an optional note.
6. Choose Save Income or Save Expense, then check Activity.

### Account balances

Income increases the selected account's recorded balance; an expense decreases it. The amount uses the selected account's currency. This records an event in Spndy rather than sending a payment.

### No account yet?

Use Add account before saving a transaction. If saving fails or its outcome is uncertain, follow the on-screen recovery actions rather than creating the same record repeatedly.

---

## How do I edit or delete a transaction?

Open a record from Activity and review the balance adjustment.

### Find and open it

Open Activity and choose the transaction. Use search and the filters if needed. The detail sheet shows its amount, type, category, account and note.

### Edit

Choose Edit, adjust the fields shown and choose Save changes. The app does not offer every field for every transaction type; transfer amount and type, for example, are not edited like income and expenses.

### Delete

Choose Delete, review Delete this transaction?, then confirm Delete. The account balance is adjusted. Only confirm after checking you selected the right record.

### Check the result

Return to Activity and Home. If a save or delete reports a connection failure, check the current record and balance before repeating it.

---

## How do I search and filter Activity?

Find a recorded transaction and open its details.

### Use Activity

Open the Activity tab. Enter a search in Search transactions and use the available type filters to narrow the list. Clear the search to see the broader list again.

### If a transaction looks missing

Check that a search or filter is not hiding it. Review the selected record's account and date, and refresh the screen. A transaction entered under another login will not appear in this account.

### If a save was interrupted

Check Activity before entering it again. If the original form shows a recovery record, use its Retry original save option rather than starting a second transaction.

---

## Why do balances and currency labels look different?

Understand account currencies, display preferences and unconverted totals.

### Each account has a currency

Transactions inherit their account's currency. Home can show balances grouped by currency. Spndy does not convert between currencies or apply exchange rates.

### Display preference is not conversion

Profile → App settings lets you choose a preferred currency. Saving that preference does not change existing account or transaction currencies or convert amounts.

### Correct an account's currency

Open an account from Home and choose its edit action. Review the currency correction carefully. Correcting a label is not a foreign-exchange transaction; the balance is not converted.

### Unconverted aggregates

Budgets, reports and household views can show unconverted aggregates without a reliable single currency. Do not treat a sum of mixed currencies as one spendable currency. Use individual account records and currency-specific views to understand the amounts.

---

## How do recurring transactions work?

Use the recurring option when your plan includes scheduled posting.

### Set up a recurring record

In the new-transaction form, turn on Make transaction recurring, choose a frequency from those offered and save the record. The screen identifies this as a Premium feature.

### Distinguish schedules

A recurring transaction is an auto-posting record. A bill or subscription in Bills & subscriptions is a commitment or renewal schedule. They are different features, and using both for the same expense needs care.

### Avoid double counting

Review Activity and your bills before manually entering another copy. Safe to spend may ask you to review recurring expenses if it cannot safely reconcile them with commitments.

---

## A save lost connection. Should I try again?

Follow recovery messages and check records before creating a duplicate.

### Check what the screen says

A lost connection does not always mean the server rejected a save. Read the recovery message before acting. For a transaction with a saved recovery request, Retry original save reuses that request.

### Review before clearing

If the form offers Check Transactions before clearing, inspect Activity first. Clear the recovery record only after you have checked the outcome. Do not enter the same transaction in a new form simply because a response was delayed.

### CSV imports need extra care

An interrupted import may have added some rows. Check Activity before importing the file again. Repeating it may create duplicates.

### Ask for help

If you cannot tell what was saved, contact support with the approximate time, affected screen and error text. Never send a password, verification link or authentication code.

---

## How do I create a monthly category budget?

Set a limit and compare it with recorded spending.

### Create it

1. Open Budgets.
2. Choose Add budget or Create your first budget.
3. Select a category.
4. Enter a positive Monthly limit.
5. Choose Save budget.

### Read the progress

The category card shows recorded spending against its limit, with an overall view and attention messages when applicable. A budget does not move money into a separate bank account or prevent a real purchase.

### Remove a budget

Use its delete control, review the confirmation, then Confirm delete. The deletion cannot be undone. Review the unconverted-amount notice if your records include different currencies.

---

## How do I read Reports & insights?

Choose a range and review income, spending and category breakdowns.

### Open the report

Choose Reports on Home or Profile → Reports & insights. Use the date-range choices shown to change the period.

### Understand the figures

Income, spending and net come from your recorded transactions. Category breakdowns explain where recorded expenses went. The daily chart shows recent days with spending; a missing day is not proof that no real-world spending happened.

### Currency and completeness

Reports show an unconverted-aggregate notice where a single currency is not established. Incomplete tracking produces incomplete reports. Review underlying transactions rather than treating the chart as a bank statement.

### Exports

The current Reports screen does not provide a PDF or spreadsheet export action. Do not assume a feature is available simply because a plan description mentions it; use the actions actually shown in your app.

---

## What does Safe to spend mean?

Understand the estimate and why it can differ from an account balance.

### An estimate from your records

Safe to spend uses recorded eligible balances and known commitments for a planning period, while keeping a savings reserve. It is an estimate, not guaranteed available money or a live bank balance.

### Read the breakdown

Open the Safe to spend card on Home to see the detail and assumptions. Check the currency, counted accounts, commitments, reserve and planning date before using the number.

### A shortfall or zero estimate

A shortfall means the recorded inputs do not cover the included commitments and reserve for that period. It is not a declined payment or a bank decision. Review the inputs and your own records.

### No estimate yet

Use its setup or review action. The app can withhold the estimate when data is missing or needs review rather than show an unreliable number.

---

## How do I set up Safe to spend?

Choose currency, counted accounts, a reserve and a planning date.

### Open settings

Open Safe to spend, then Settings. The page describes the currency, accounts, savings reserve and planning date you can change.

### Choose the inputs

1. Select the currency to plan in.
2. Choose the default account selection or customise Accounts to count.
3. Enter a Savings reserve you want excluded from the estimate.
4. Choose the planning period or Plan through date.
5. Review the selected accounts and choose Save settings.

### Eligible accounts

Account type and currency affect whether a balance can count. Credit and investment accounts are not cash-like spendable balances. Read the included/excluded explanation beside each account rather than assuming all balances count.

### Review after changes

Return to the estimate and check its breakdown. Changing Safe to spend settings does not convert currencies or change account balances.

---

## Why does Safe to spend say it needs setup or review?

Resolve missing inputs and commitments that cannot be safely reconciled.

### Needs setup

Open Settings and review currency, eligible accounts, savings reserve and planning date. Make sure there is an eligible recorded balance in the currency being planned.

### Needs review

Follow the reason shown on screen. In particular, recurring transactions and bills can overlap. Check Bills & subscriptions and Activity for the same expected expense before changing a setting just to force a number.

### Unavailable or cannot load

Use Try again if the message is about connectivity. If the service is unavailable, use your recorded balances and commitments directly and contact support when needed.

### Keep the estimate honest

Do not mark a bill paid simply to increase Safe to spend. Record what actually happened and review the estimate after updating the records.

---

## How do I add a bill or subscription?

Track amounts, due dates and renewal schedules.

### Add an item

Open Profile → Bills & subscriptions. Choose Add bill or Add your first bill. Enter its name, amount and currency, choose its type, set the due or renewal date and select a repeat option. Choose Add bill.

### Plan availability

Adding bills is part of Premium in the app. The screen may let you view, edit and delete existing items even when you cannot add new ones.

### Bill versus subscription

A bill's due date can show as overdue. A recurring subscription's date is an expected renewal, which can be projected forward. Neither is proof that a payment was taken.

### Make changes

Open the item for details and use Edit or Delete. Check any payment history shown before changing or removing a commitment.

---

## Does Mark paid create an expense or pay the bill?

Understand the difference between a payment record and a transaction.

### Mark paid records an occurrence

In Bills & subscriptions, open the item and choose Mark paid or Record payment. Review the confirmation and the due occurrence being recorded.

### It does not move money

This records a paid occurrence in the bill's history. It does not debit your recorded money account, create an expense transaction or send a real payment.

### Keep Activity in sync

Record the real expense separately in Activity if it has not already been recorded or auto-posted. Check first so you do not create two expense records.

### The next occurrence

For a repeating item, the schedule can move to its next expected date after a payment record. Refresh and review its history if the due date changed while you were working.

---

## Why did a tracked subscription move to a new renewal date?

Expected renewals are scheduling estimates, separate from paid records.

### A projected date is not a charge

A recurring subscription can automatically move to its next expected renewal date. This is a schedule estimate, not proof of a charge, a payment or a bank transaction.

### Check the underlying record

Open the subscription's details to review its amount, frequency and Next expected renewal. Check its payment history separately.

### Spndy plan versus a tracked subscription

An item such as Netflix in Bills & subscriptions is a record you manage. Your paid Spndy plan, if any, is managed on the Subscription screen under your profile's plan details.

---

## How do I create or join a household?

Create a household or accept membership using a private code.

### Create a household

Open Profile → Household. If you are not already in a household, enter a Household name and choose Create household. The available features and capacity depend on plan entitlements.

### Join with a code

Get the private household code from someone you trust. Open Household, enter the eight-character code under Join with a code, then choose Join household. You accept membership yourself.

### Invite someone

The owner can copy and privately share the household code from Invite someone. Email and username invitations are paused in the current app; the household code is the supported path.

### Joining is not automatic sharing

Membership does not automatically share all your transactions. Read the household privacy guide before assuming your records are visible to others.

---

## Which transactions are shared with a household?

Understand explicit sharing and the limits of the household overview.

### Membership and sharing are different

Joining a household does not automatically make every transaction visible to members. Household analytics counts transactions explicitly shared with that household.

### Do not assume all records are included

CSV imports, recurring entries and older household fields are not automatically treated as explicitly shared transactions. A household total can therefore differ from your personal Activity.

### Current entry-screen limits

The standard new-transaction form does not currently show a household-sharing control. Do not expect newly entered personal transactions to appear in the household view just because you joined.

### Household AI

Household AI depends on availability, explicit sharing and member AI consent. Review the privacy explanation inside Spndy AI rather than assuming membership gives permission to analyse every member's records.

---

## Why can’t I join a household with my code?

Check the code, membership and household capacity.

### Check the code

Use the current eight-character code and check for typing mistakes. Ask the owner to copy it again if needed. Share it only privately.

### Check the message

Invalid code means the app could not find a matching household. Household is full means its current member limit has been reached. The owner should review the current plan and membership.

### Do not keep retrying blindly

If the connection failed, refresh Household to see whether you joined. Contact support if the membership state remains unclear.

---

## How do I import transactions from CSV?

Choose a destination account, review the preview and import supported rows.

### Before importing

CSV import is a Premium feature. Add the destination account first and check its currency and starting balance. Your file's amounts are recorded against that account; they are not converted.

### Choose and review

1. Open Profile → Import CSV.
2. Select the destination account.
3. Choose a CSV file in the web app, paste CSV text into the provided field, or use sample data to learn the format.
4. Review the preview, row issues, skipped rows and Expected balance change.
5. Fix incorrect data, then choose Import transactions or the row-count action.
6. Review the result and choose View activity.

### Required format

Use date, amount and type columns. Category and note are optional. Dates such as 2026-01-05 are unambiguous. Use positive amounts and income or expense as the type.

CSV example:

date,amount,type,category,note
2026-01-05,45.00,expense,food,Groceries
2026-01-06,2500.00,income,salary,Salary

### Balance and duplicates

Importing transactions changes the destination account's recorded balance. Make sure the starting balance and date coverage do not already include the same transactions. Review Activity before importing a file again.

---

## My CSV import failed or only added some rows

Use the preview and outcome messages to avoid duplicate records.

### Preview errors

Check the required date, amount and type columns. Review every highlighted row issue. Fix malformed quoting or missing fields in the source file, then preview it again.

### A plan message

You can preview a file even when your current plan cannot import it. A Premium-required message means the server declined the import; the screen states when nothing was imported.

### The connection dropped

The app may not know how far the import got. Some rows may already have been added. Choose Check Activity and compare the records before retrying the whole file.

### Need support?

Include the error wording, the number of rows involved and the approximate time. Remove sensitive personal or financial information from any sample you share. Do not send a full bank statement unless support has provided an appropriate way to handle it.

---

## How do I turn Spndy AI on or off?

Choose optional analysis and keep control of your permission.

### Turn it on

Open Spndy AI from Profile. Read the optional-analysis notice and choose Turn on AI analysis if you want to use it. Availability and tools depend on the service and your plan.

### Turn it off

In Spndy AI, choose Turn off AI analysis. If the service is disabled but you previously opted in, the page can offer Withdraw AI permission.

### What changes

Turning permission off stops subsequent AI feature processing. It does not undo information already processed by a third-party provider. Core finance features remain available.

### Before asking a question

Read Privacy and how Spndy AI works. Avoid entering passwords, account numbers, verification codes or other sensitive identifiers in a question.

---

## What can I do in Spndy AI?

Ask a question or explore recorded spending, budgets and subscriptions.

### Explore the available tools

Open Spndy AI and use the tools shown for your account, such as Ask, Insights, Budget coach and Subscription intelligence. Select the relevant currency when offered.

### Ask a focused question

For example, ask which recorded spending categories were highest this month. Questions use the recorded data available to the app, so incomplete records limit the answer.

### Suggestions need your review

AI responses may be incomplete or incorrect. Suggested budgets do not change your budgets automatically. Category suggestions in the transaction form are optional choices; you still choose what to save.

### Follow the data

Use Activity, Budgets and Bills & subscriptions to review the underlying records. Spndy AI does not make purchases, send payments or guarantee future balances.

---

## Why did Spndy AI say I reached a limit?

Understand the allowance shown in your account.

### Read your allowance

Spndy AI displays the allowance and limit messages for your account. Limits depend on your plan and service configuration; use the numbers and reset information actually shown.

### A limit is not a saved transaction

A question request and a financial transaction are different operations. Do not repeat a question continuously when a limit or temporary service message appears.

### What to do next

Return when the allowance resets, review available plans if offered, or use the regular reports and records. For an unexpected usage message, contact support with the message and approximate time.

---

## What information is used by Spndy AI?

Read the in-app disclosure and avoid sensitive details in questions.

### Optional analysis

Spndy can analyse recorded transactions on its servers for tools such as insights, budget suggestions and recurring-expense findings when you turn analysis on.

### Ask and Explain

When you deliberately ask a question or request an AI explanation, the app's disclosure describes sending the question and limited financial summaries to Anthropic. The question itself is sent as you wrote it.

### Be careful with free text

Do not include passwords, recovery codes, bank account numbers, names or other sensitive identifiers in a question. A summary can still contain sensitive financial information.

### Your controls

Read Privacy and how Spndy AI works and the full Privacy Policy for current details. You can withdraw AI permission in Spndy AI. This guide does not replace the policy or promise zero retention.

---

## How do I change my name, photo, country or currency?

Manage profile preferences without converting your records.

### Open settings

Choose Edit profile or App settings from Profile. You can edit your name, choose a country and select a preferred currency, then Save changes.

### Currency confirmation

If the app asks you to press Save changes again for a currency change, read the warning. This changes the preferred display currency, not existing account or transaction currencies.

### Profile photo

Use Change photo to choose an image. You can remove an existing photo from Profile using Remove photo and its confirmation.

### Email address

The email field is read-only in current settings. Contact support if you need help with an account email rather than creating a second login unintentionally.

---

## Where do I check my plan and feature limits?

Use current plan details instead of assuming advertised limits apply.

### Find the current details

Open Profile → Plans & pricing to compare plans. Use the plan-details action on Profile to open Subscription and see your current status, features and usage.

### Limits can vary

The app uses server-provided entitlements. Existing grants, promotions and subscription status can affect access. The current numbers shown in your account are more useful than a remembered price or limit.

### Features that may need a plan

The app identifies recurring transactions, adding bills and CSV import as Premium features. Household features are associated with Family access. Read the actual availability message for your account.

### If checkout is unavailable

Paid checkout can be disabled. A temporary-unavailability message is not a successful upgrade or charge. Do not pay through an alternative link someone sends you; contact support through the app.

---

## How do I change or cancel my Spndy subscription?

Review status, payments and the cancellation confirmation.

### Review your subscription

Open your plan details from Profile. Subscription shows the status, included features, usage and any payment history returned for your account.

### Choose a plan

Use Change plan, review monthly or annual pricing and the confirmation, then continue to the payment page when checkout is available. Your plan changes after the payment is confirmed.

### Cancel

If Cancel subscription is shown, select it and review the date or period in the confirmation. Confirm Cancel subscription to schedule cancellation. The app explains access continuing to the end of the paid period.

### Do not confuse three different actions

Cancelling your Spndy plan is different from deleting a tracked Netflix item in Bills & subscriptions, and different from requesting deletion of your Spndy login. If a cancellation fails, check Subscription and contact support.

---

## How do I redeem a promo code?

Check the code and follow its specific redemption path.

### Check it

Open Profile → Redeem promo code. Enter the code and choose Check code.

### Follow the result

Some codes show Claim promo and a confirmation. A checkout discount instead offers Choose a plan so it can be applied to the payment flow. A valid-code preview is not, by itself, a completed redemption.

### Verify your access

After a successful claim or confirmed checkout, open Subscription and review the resulting status and features. Read the error shown if a code is expired, ineligible or already used.

---

## How do I request deletion of my Spndy account?

Submit a reviewed deletion request from settings.

### Submit the request

1. Open Profile → App settings.
2. Choose Delete SPNDY account.
3. Read the explanation about subscriptions, households and records.
4. Enter your account email to confirm.
5. Choose Submit deletion request.

### Pending review

The request is recorded for support review. You may continue using Spndy while it is pending. Support must resolve active subscriptions, shared-household ownership and retention requirements before permanent deletion can be completed.

### Not an instant erasure button

Submitting the request does not mean all data is immediately erased, and it is not the same as cancelling a subscription. Check the request status and contact support with questions.

---

## Where do I find notifications?

Open the notification list and mark messages as read.

### Open the list

Choose the bell on Home. Unread messages are indicated in the list and the unread count can appear on Home.

### Read or clear unread status

Open a notification to follow its supported in-app link. Use Mark all notifications as read when you want to clear the unread state.

### Push notifications

The in-app notification list is separate from device push delivery. Push behaviour depends on the native build and device permissions; a browser session does not guarantee native push notifications.

---

## How do I contact Spndy support?
